method which runs an exe file when the operating system starts up and remains hidden?

i had made a program using C++(devC++) using a for loop. when i run that an exe file is created. i pasted that exe file in startup folder. i want that file to run when computer starts or boot up and should remains hidden or in background and should not be visible on deskstop.
